Upcoming Presentation: History of the Women’s Course

Archivist Portia Vescio will be speaking about the history of the women’s course  for the East Lansing Prime Time group on Thursday, April 23, 2009.  The presenation will trace the origins of the women’s course at MSU and talk about how it evolved over the years.  Also included in the presentation will be a spotlight on some of the women who were significant in the program’s development.  The event is located at the Hannah Community Center at 819 Abbot Road in East Lansing.

The cost is $12 for residents and $13 for non-residents. Lunch starts at 12p.m. and consists of cranberry chicken bake, broccoli, red potatoes and coleslaw.  Call Prime Time at (517) 337-1113 to reserve your spot for this exciting event.
